Stripping Process:
Stripping becomes necessary when uneven dyeing occurs. By stripping azo group (--N=N--) from the dye is removed. It is a critical procedure and it is required to match the shade of the dyed fabric with the buyer’s requirement. Here, flowchart of stripping process for reactive dye on cotton fabric is given below.

Stripping process for cotton fabric is given below:

Fabric received from the batching section

Required amount of water was taken into the machine

The fabric was loaded and run for 5-10 minutes in normal temperature

Wetting agent, anticreasing agent were added at a time for 5 minutes

Caustic was dosing at normal temperature for 5 minutes

Run for 10 min.

Temperature increase at 110 0C and continue for 40 min.

Cooling at 80 0C

Hydrose inject for 5 min.

Temperature increased at 110 0C for 10 min.

Run for 30 min.

Cooling at 80 0C

Sample check

Rinsing for 15 min.

Hot wash

Cold Wash

Unload the Fabric
